Biblical traditions remind us that our faith is lived out in community, shaped by the people of our time and history. In following these traditions, Creator Church recognizes that our calling extends beyond our congregation. We partner not only with our church members but also with other communities and organizations to serve our neighbors and nurture God's good creation.

"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." – 1 John 3:18

In response to this call, Creator partners with other groups in the area in multiple endeavors to provide service and help our community.
SOS Families
SOS Families was started during the pandemic to provide essential meals and household supplies to families in need. We ship every month to ensure these families recieve  food like fresh produce and dairy items to round out nutritious meals. Soon, we learned that food was not the only scarce item. This program has morphed into a relief program in partnership with North Clackamas School District and other local churches.
Backpack Buddies
The Backpack Buddies program provides food for children at local elementary schools who are at risk of going hungry over the weekend. Creator helps raise money for this program with a yearly fundraiser in addition to individula donations. Volunteer shoppers give of their time to shop for the meals. The Scouts of Troop 611 pack up the lunches and volunteers deliver them to the school for distribution.
God's Work, Our Hands
Across the country during the month of September, thousands of ELCA  members engage in service work to make a positive change in our communities, build and deepen relationships and share God’s love.  Our congregation will partner with different organizations who serve our community.
Farmland Produce Distribution Project (FPDP)
In 2023, we began conversations about partnering with FPDP to use part of our land.  FPDP is a non-profit Organization based in Portland, Oregon catered towards people of African descent. The organization helps community members in growing and expanding their agricultural minds with planting African produce and vegetables, distributes fresh produce to underprivileged members of the African community and others in need of culturally familiar food. In 2024, we officially had our groundbreaking and blessing service, and are looking forward to a planting season this 2025.
The Father's Heart
Every first Thursday of the month our members cook in our kitchen a hot meal for The Father's Heart Street Ministry. This meal feeds 125 homeless people. We furnish a hot main dish, salad, bananas and cookies.
Veteran's Village
We cook for 25 residents at the Clackamas Veterans Village a place the serves homeless veterans. We supply the same hot meal for their community kitchen to feed the Veterans on site. We also provide desserts and 1/2 gallon of milk donated by church members once a month.  During the year we support the veterans on all national holidays. We arrange with the staff on what is needed to support any meal they are planning.
The Clackamas Bookshelf
Provides free books to low-income children in Clackamas County, with the understanding that widespread access to books offers positive, long-term benefits to our entire community.
We support this mission by donating new or used books. Drop off a gently used books for all ages are welcome—kid’s books go to students, adult books are sold to help fund the bookshelf in the donation box in the porch area.
Support their mission by purchasing books at their monthly sale. Normally, adult books are 50 cents each, children's books are 25 cents. Every dollar spent provides a book for a child who needs one. For more information follow the link to their website here.
The American Red Cross
Creator works each year with the Red Cross for multiple blood drives. Hosting quarterly blood drives with the American Red Cross and/or walking as a team in Light the Night for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society are other ways we work with the community.
